Today’s blog is nothing but images of the second, ten-inch snow that we’ve had this month.  The first one burned off (where the snow had been cleared down to the concrete).  Now, we have our ten inches back on driveways, sidewalks – everywhere.  Bushes, fence posts, and my gazing ball garden.  If you live in my area, you will recognize this snow.  If you don’t, you can, again, see why the snow never leaves my front yard until spring!  I hope you do enjoy the images.

I really do enjoy snow, although I don’t venture out into it much, these days.  I reschedule appointments and leave the groceries at the market.  Of course, blessed neighbors Keith and Rita worked to clear the snow from the sidewalk and driveway.  I so appreciate them!

My back yard looks like a beautiful garden park. The snow is so smooth. Even the rabbits and the squirrels have not ventured out.
The back yard bushes look like mounds of snow.
I’ve always wanted an aspen grove in my front yard. After consulting with my “tree guy,” who told me a small aspen grove would be okay, I’ve let a few grow. The tree in the middle of the image is one of the new aspen grove trees. To the left, you can see the “mother” tree.
The gazing ball garden is covered so much that only a small amount of color is peeking out from under the snow.
Fortunately, Handyman Keith called to advise that I cover the cut wood with a tarp. Which I did. When I brought in wood for the Nashua, this morning, it was good not to have the need to remove the snow first.

My first 11.8 inches never melted from front yard. Then, came the second 10 inches which piled on top.
I like the first photo. The mullein plant in front makes it kind of cool. I really do miss what the backyard used to look like.
